We are a Public Benefit Corporation in the State of Minnesota, meaning we are committed to not only protecting public health and the environment through our work, but we are also committed to helping address homelessness and poverty in our state.
The Ten Thirty in our name comes from chapter ten and verse thirty of the book of Luke in the Bible, which is the parable of the Good Samaritan. We believe as Christians we are called to help those around us who are struggling and hurting. As a result of that belief we take our commitment to give back to our community seriously.
We support those in need in our community by donating 5% of our revenue monthly and 10% of our corporate profits annually to Ten Thirty House; which is a non-profit in Anoka County that helps families impacted by homelessness. Ten thirty House’s vision is to ‘Change the landscape of our community by loving our neighbors as God loves us’, which is a vision we wholeheartedly support.
If you would like to join us in supporting Ten Thirty House you can find out how by visiting their website at www.tenthirtyhouse.org.
In addition to supporting Ten Thirty House’s efforts to help those in need in our community we also financially support a number of other organizations including Global partners, Together For Good, and InterVarsity that also help people meet their physical, as well as spiritual needs.
